Five Students Hurt in Bus Accident in Baramulla, Condition Stable

Srinagar- Five children were injured after a school bus met with an accident near Shutloo in Baramulla district on Friday, officials said.

The injured students sustained injuries and were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Rohama, where they received first aid and stitching, medical officials said.

Out of the five injured, three children have been referred to Government Medical College Baramulla for further evaluation, officials said.

All the students are reported to be stable, and their condition is under observation.

The bus involved in the incident belongs to New Era Chijhama, officials said, as per news agency KNT.

Meanwhile, a 45-year-old man sustained critical injuries after falling from a vehicle at Parimpora Main Chowk in Srinagar on Friday, officials said.

The injured has been identified as Farooq Ahmed Sofi, a resident of Parimpora.

According to officials, the incident occurred when he fell from a Tata Mobile near the busy Parimpora Chowk, resulting in severe head injuries.

He was immediately shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina for treatment, where his condition is reported to be critical, officials said.

Police have taken cognizance of both incidents.
