Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly’s Committee on Privileges has summoned PDP legislator Waheed-ur-Rehman Para to appear before it on Friday in connection with a privilege case, according to an official bulletin.
The meeting of the committee will be held at 11 am on July 24 at the Assembly Secretariat in Srinagar and will be chaired by Committee Chairman Bashir Ahmad Veeri, the bulletin issued by the Legislative Assembly Secretariat said.
It said Para has been requested to appear before the committee at the scheduled time to present his case.
The committee comprises Bashir Ahmad Veeri, Showkat Hussain Ganie, Khurshid Ahmed, Zafar Ali Khatana, Vijay Kumar, Rajeev Kumar and Darshan Kumar.
Members of the committee have been asked to attend the meeting, the bulletin added.
