Four Injured in Road Accident in Bijbehara, One Critical

Srinagar- Four persons were injured, one of them critically, after two vehicles collided near the Air Strip at Donipora Crossing in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday, officials said.

The accident involved a Swift Dzire bearing registration number HP37G-0172 and a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK22B-7482, they said.

The injured were identified as Surinder Kumar, a resident of Mohali in Punjab, S. Chand Munda, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, another passenger and the driver of one of the vehicles.

All the injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment, where doctors said Surinder Kumar was in a serious condition, officials said, as per news agency GNS.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
