Srinagar— India Yamaha Motor (IYM) on Monday inaugurated two new Blue Square dealerships in Srinagar, expanding its retail network in Jammu and Kashmir.
The new dealerships — The Destination at ASHCO Arcade, Batamaloo, and Speed Wings at Gulshan Nagar, Nowgam — have been set up as part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the region and enhance customer access to its products and services.
With the addition of the two outlets, Yamaha now operates eight Blue Square showrooms and 19 customer touchpoints across Jammu and Kashmir, the company said in a statement.
The company said the new dealerships are aimed at catering to the growing demand for Yamaha motorcycles and scooters in Srinagar and nearby areas.
Blue Square dealerships are designed to offer customers access to Yamaha’s range of motorcycles and scooters, along with genuine accessories, apparel and spare parts.
The company said the outlets would also serve as meeting points for members of its Blue Streaks rider community and host customer engagement activities.
Yamaha’s product portfolio in India includes premium motorcycles such as the XSR155, YZF-R15 V4, YZF-R15S and MT-15 V2, along with models from its FZ series. The company also markets scooters including the Aerox 155, Fascino and RayZR range.
According to the company, the expansion is part of its efforts to strengthen its retail footprint and customer engagement initiatives across the country.
