Thousands of mourners participated in the traditional 7th Muharram-ul-Haram Alam Sharif procession that commenced from Botraj Mohalla in Androoni Kathidarwaza, Srinagar, and proceeded along its historic route towards Imambargah Hassanabad.

The procession echoed with nohas, marsiyas and matam as devotees commemorated the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala.

The gathering reflected deep faith, unity and devotion to the timeless message of Karbala—upholding truth, justice and resistance against oppression.

Volunteers set up sabeels and refreshment stalls along the route, serving mourners throughout the procession.
