35-Year-Old Man Dies in Walnut Tree Fall in North Kashmir

Srinagar- A 35-year-old man died after falling from a walnut tree while plucking walnuts in Uri area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Saturday.

The incident occurred in Pawadan village of Uri when the man, identified as Ashiq Hussain, lost his balance and fell from the tree, they said.

Hussain, son of Ghulam Hassan Awan and a resident of Pawadan, was rushed to the Sub-District Hospital in Uri, where doctors declared him brought dead, reported news agency GNS.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings, officials said.
