Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will go paperless from its upcoming autumn session beginning September 21, with all legislative business to be managed through the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) portal.
According to a circular issued by the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, all departments have been directed to submit replies to questions, Bills and other Assembly-related business exclusively through the NeVA platform.
The departments have also been asked to access their NeVA accounts daily to ensure timely processing of legislative business.
The circular further directs departments to appoint a Nodal Officer for coordination and smooth implementation of the digital system.
The autumn session of the J&K Legislative Assembly is scheduled to commence on September 21, 2026.
