Srinagar: The Department of Students’ Welfare at the University of Kashmir, in collaboration with the Department of History, organised a programme at Gandhi Bhavan to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

The speakers highlighted his key role in drafting the Indian Constitution and his lifelong efforts to promote equality and social justice. They also spoke about how his ideas continue to inspire people across the country.

Faculty members, scholars, and students attended the event and shared their thoughts on his contributions. The programme aimed to spread awareness about his work and encourage students to follow his values.
