Scooty Rider Dies in Truck Collision in Srinagar’s Parimpora

Srinagar- A scooty rider was killed after his two-wheeler collided with a truck at Fruit Mandi Parimpora in Srinagar on Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Muhammad Anwar Magray, son of Muhammad Abdullah Magray, a resident of Kilwar Tangmarg.

The injured rider was shifted to a nearby hospital by the truck driver following the accident. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival, reported news agency KNT.

The circumstances leading to the collision were not immediately clear, while traffic movement on the road remained unaffected following the accident.

Meanwhile, a woman was injured after a Honda City collided with a dumper near Medical College at Sempora in Srinagar on Tuesday.

The accident involved a Honda City bearing registration number JK01AP-0777 and a dumper bearing registration number JK13K-6378. The Honda City sustained damage in the collision.

The injured woman was shifted to Kashmir Medical College, Sempora, for treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
