Missing Man’s Body Recovered from Nallah Madhumati in Bandipora

Srinagar- The body of a 31-year-old man who had gone missing was retrieved from Nallah Madhumati in North Kashmirโ€™s Bandipora district on Friday, officials said.

An official said that the body of the missing man was recovered six days after intensive search operations conducted by the SDRF, police and local volunteers, reported news agency KNO.

The deceased was identified as Showkat Ahmad Gujjar (31), son of Mohammad Gulab Gujjar, a resident of Yali Bonakoot.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and the body will be handed over to the family after completion of medico-legal formalities.
