Stay Fit, Stay Healthy: Kashmir Harward School Students Encouraged To Embrace Sports

SRINAGAR: An awareness and interaction programme on the theme “Stay Fit, Stay Healthy” was organised for students of Kashmir Harward School, Malla Bagh, Srinagar, with experts stressing the importance of physical fitness, healthy habits and responsible use of technology.

SSP Traffic Ajaz Ahmad, IPS, Pulmonologist Dr Naveed Shah, and Musculoskeletal and Physiotherapy Expert Dr Ishfaq addressed the students during the programme.

The speakers stressed the need to protect children from distractions associated with excessive mobile phone and social media use. They encouraged students to use technology responsibly and maintain a healthy balance between screen time, academics and physical activities.

The students were also encouraged to actively participate in sports, athletics and other outdoor activities. The speakers highlighted that regular exercise and physical activity are essential for maintaining good health and supporting the overall physical and mental well-being of children.

The interaction aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of adopting healthy habits and staying physically active from an early age.
