Anantnag, Apr 13: Two separate incidents were reported from south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, officials said.

In Bijbehara’s Padshahibagh area, two boys drowned in the Jhelum river after slipping into the water, they said. Rescue teams were rushed to the spot.

In another incident, two unidentified bodies were recovered from the Kamad area of Anantnag after being spotted by locals. Police and FSL teams reached the spot for investigation.

The cause of death in both cases is being ascertained, officials said. Further details are awaited.—
